How to screenshot a Facebook post with all its comments
Open the post in Chrome and switch its comments from Most relevant to All comments. Then use Emaki, a free Chrome extension: in Capture settings, turn on Open hidden comments and replies first and press Full page. Emaki clicks View more comments, View replies and See more until none are left, then scrolls the post and stitches it into one tall image.
Facebook shows only a few comments at first and hides the rest behind View more comments and View replies, with long comments cut off behind See more. Opening them all by hand takes a long time on a busy post.

Open the post on its own page
Add Emaki from the Chrome Web Store, then open the post in Chrome. Clicking its date or time opens it on its own page.
Show all comments
Under the post, click Most relevant and choose All comments, so Facebook doesn't leave any out.
Turn on Open hidden comments and replies first
Click the Emaki icon in the toolbar to open the side panel, open Capture settings and turn on Open hidden comments and replies first. It's off by default.
Press Full page
Emaki clicks View more comments, View replies and See more again and again until none are left or it reaches its limit, then scrolls the post and stitches every shot into one image. If the post opened in a box over your feed, choose Scrolling area, click the comments and press Capture the whole area instead.
Save or edit it
Click Download to save the capture as a PNG, or Edit to save it as a JPG or PDF. With Emaki Pro, the editor also crops it, adds arrows, boxes or text, or blurs private details first.
- A post with thousands of comments can be longer than one capture: free captures are up to 150 shots and Emaki Pro up to 1000. The capture stops at the limit.
- Emaki recognizes these buttons in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. If Facebook is in another language, open the comments by hand before you capture, or switch Facebook to one of these languages.
- Facebook changes its buttons from time to time. Check the capture before you share it, open anything Emaki missed by hand and capture again.
Questions and answers
Will Emaki click links, like or post anything?
No. It clicks only buttons that open more comments, replies or text, never links that would leave the page. It doesn't type, react or post.
Does Emaki send my Facebook anywhere?
No. To find the buttons, Emaki reads their labels on your computer, and nothing is sent anywhere. Screenshots are processed on your computer and never uploaded, unless you create a Pro share link or use an AI edit.
Is it free?
Yes. Opening hidden comments, capturing the post and saving it as a PNG, JPG or PDF are free. Emaki Pro ($10/month or $100/year) captures up to 1000 shots and adds the editor's blur, for hiding names before you share.
