Terms of Service.

The terms for using Emaki, Appzlr accounts and paid plans such as Emaki Pro.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Who we are

Emaki and Appzlr accounts are made and run by Ahmed Gamal, trading as Appzlr, based in Egypt ("Appzlr", "we", "us"). These terms cover the Emaki Chrome extension, the Emaki site at emaki.appzlr.com (including the editor, step-by-step guides and share links), Appzlr accounts, and the paid plans Emaki Pro and Emaki Pro + AI. By installing Emaki, creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.

Using Emaki for free

You can install Emaki, autoscroll, capture pages and download captures as PNG, JPG or PDF files for free, without an account. Making, editing and saving step-by-step guides in your browser is free too, and so is exporting a guide as a PDF of up to 10 steps. The free features may change over time.

Your account

Paid plans and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

Share links

A share link makes one capture, recording or guide visible to anyone who has the link, until it expires after the 1, 7 or 30 days you picked, or until you delete it. With Emaki Pro, a guide link can also be kept until you delete it, and Update link changes what an existing guide link shows. You are responsible for what you share, so check a capture, recording or guide for private information before you make a link. We may remove a link that breaks these terms.

AI edits and AI step text

AI edits are made by Google's Gemini API from the image and instruction you send. Results can be wrong or change things you didn't ask for, so check them before you use them. Don't use AI edits to make misleading or forged images, such as altered receipts, documents, messages or screenshots presented as real.

AI step text for a guide is written on your computer when Chrome supports it, otherwise by Google's Gemini API from the guide's step images. It can describe a step wrongly or miss what matters, so read it before you share or rely on the guide.

Acceptable use

When you use Emaki and Appzlr accounts, don't:

Your content

Your captures, recordings and guides are yours. Emaki works on them in your browser. We only store or pass on an image, a video or a guide when you ask us to: to serve a share link until it expires or you delete it, or to send images for an AI edit or AI step text. You give us permission to do just that.

Our software

Emaki, the editor and the Emaki site belong to Appzlr. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use them under these terms, for as long as you follow them.

Changes and termination

Warranty and liability

Emaki is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will capture every page perfectly or be available without interruption. Keep your own copies of captures that matter.

As far as the law allows, Appzlr is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and disputes go to the courts of Egypt. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
